Bio

My love for teaching is influenced by a variety of people Ive met while growing up in New Hampshire in my early years as well as time spent as an adult living and working in Rhode Island, Colorado and Massachusetts. As a professor of social sciences, my love for understanding people, culture and society stems from these varied experiences, as well as opportunities to travel domestically and internationally for both work and pleasure.

These rich life experiences, combined with my formal education, have heavily influenced the way I develop curriculum, interact with my students, and strive to help them make sense of the world both in and outside the classroom.
