About Charles
Charles Armstrong is a pastry chef instructor at JWU’s Providence Campus, where he has taught for many years. He currently teaches freshmen and sophomores the arts of sugar artistry, chocolates and confections, and advanced plated desserts. His passion is sharing his wealth of knowledge with students and interacting with them on a daily basis.

Scholarly Interests
In relation to his professional career, Armstrong has been fortunate to work for prestigious hotels, including Loews Monte Carlo; the Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel in Santa Barbara, California; the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Amelia Island, Florida; the Hotel Saint Francis in San Francisco, California; and the Registry Hotel at Universal Studios, Los Angeles.
