About Olga

Twenty nine years ago, Olga Bravo had a plan to be an educator in higher education. After receiving her M.F.A. — and waiting for the job offers to come in — she opened a seasonal bakery on a farm. Bravo turned down the job offers and pursued her passion for baking, expanding her little business to a full-time, year-round artisan bread company, bakery and café.

In the 20th year, she found herself sitting in front of a computer screen all day. Bravo began to think about her plan to be an educator. Spending the next five years as an adjunct instructor at Johnson & Wales, she realized she had found the right path.

"I bring an entrepreneurial perspective to the courses I teach. I hope to be teaching the next generation of food entrepreneurs!”
