Fred Johnson

International Representative: Canada, Caribbean, Latin America, International students in the US


Fred Johnson is an alumnus of Johnson & Wales University  (JWU), class of 1996 and has served in a number of positions at JWU.

He began his career as the JWU DECA representative for the Providence Campus in 1996. He then became coordinator of specialized recruitment (Athletics, Transfer and National Student Organizations) in 1999 and as director of National Student Organizations in 2000 and director of regional recruitment & training in 2001. In 2002, Fred transitioned into the position of director of international relations for JWU.

In 2013, Fred Johnson left JWU to live and work abroad in Santiago, Chile for five years and Thuwal, Saudi Arabia for a year. In 2019 Fred rejoined JWU once again as director of international admissions. Fred enjoys meeting with students, parents and educators and helping guide them through the US university and admissions process.
