Why to Apply Early Action at JWU

What’s better than getting accepted to Johnson & Wales? Getting accepted early! Typically, high school seniors begin receiving acceptance letters in late winter, giving them sometimes just weeks to decide which school to commit to. But at JWU, we understand that this decision shouldn’t be hasty and rushed, which is why we offer and encourage students and their families to take advantage of our Early Action program.

What is Early Action?

Our Early Action Admission program is simple: If you choose to submit your application as Early Action, you will find out your admissions decision by Thanksgiving. Better yet, since our Early Action process is non-binding, you’re not tied to JWU; instead you just have the peace of mind of knowing that there’s a spot waiting for you on campus. This gives you and your family until May 1 to choose where you best fit.

When do I have to submit my application by?

In order to meet the Early Action deadline, you will have to submit your completed application by November 1. Also if you’ve submitted your FAFSA by November 1, you will receive your financial aid packet in December.

Who is eligible?

Johnson & Wales’ Early Action Admission program is open to first-year applicants for fall semester.

How do I apply Early Action?
