Biography
Jane Boyland is Associate Dean of the College of Hospitality & Business at Johnson & Wales University, where she has served in a variety of academic and leadership roles, including associate professor, department chair, and associate dean. With more than three decades of experience in higher education and the hospitality industry, her industry professional background includes hotel operations, restaurant management, catering sales, association management, and food and beverage financial management. She provides operational leadership for academic programs, faculty staffing and development, curriculum quality, assessment, and strategic initiatives that support student success, retention, and academic excellence. She is actively involved in advancing experiential learning opportunities, including internships, study abroad programs, and industry partnerships. Her scholarship and professional presentations focus on international education, experiential learning, faculty development, hospitality finance, and entrepreneurial learning, contributing to the advancement of hospitality and business education.
