Biography
Ann Brett joined Johnson & Wales University in 2012. Prior to coming to Johnson & Wales, she was a mathematics lecturer at the University of Rhode Island. Ann has also worked as a content developer (physics and chemistry) and as a programmer/ technical support specialist (Perl-CGI, MySQL).
Ann’s field of research is difference equations and discrete dynamical systems. Since she has been at Johnson & Wales, she has co-authored a number of journal articles and spoken at regional and national meetings of the American Mathematical Society. She has been a reviewer for Mathematical Reviews, which is published by the American Mathematical Society, since 2014.
Ann is interested in curriculum and serves as Vice Chair on both the Arts & Sciences and University Curriculum Committees.
