Biography
Chef Cheyenne Hamler is an associate instructor at Johnson and Wales University.
Prior to joining JWU, she was the Executive Pastry Chef at Agawam Hunt Country Club. She also worked professionally as a Pastry Chef at local bakeries and resorts in the North East.
During her time at Agawam Hunt Country Club Chef Hamler specialized in plated desserts, speciality cakes and catering of formal events. All while establishing the pastry program and writing all pastry menus.
Her passion for pastry arts and teaching began at young age and has continued to grow since then. Chef is originally from a small town in New Jersey. Her grand father was an instructor at a local vocational school, and he sparked Chef Hamler’s interest in teaching.
Since that moment Chef has always known she would be an instructor in baking and pasty.
Since graduating from JWU Chef put her roots down in Rhode Island with her husband. In her spare time Chef enjoys playing golf, spending time outside and traveling with her family and friends.
