Biography

Jennifer Heide is a graduate of the Florida Culinary Institute, where she earned Associates Degrees in International Baking & Pastry, Culinary Arts, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Management. Chef Heide has worked for 17 years in some of Palm Beach’s most esteemed country clubs, including The Everglades Club and Mar-a-Lago.
She has earned the distinctions of Certified Executive Pastry Chef, Certified Bread Baker, Certified Baker, and World Certified Pastry Chef. She is also a Certified Evaluator for the ACF.

Chef Heide loves all aspects of pastry and has developed specialties in bread, viennoiserie, chocolate, and fine pastry including entremets and petit gateaux. Chef is passionate about mentoring the next generation of bakers and pastry chefs to achieve their goals and she believes that there is always something new to learn!
Heide joined the Johnson & Wales CFIT Faculty in 2026. She looks forward to sharing her love of pastry with students and hopes to inspire them to get involved in the pastry community and to reach their goals.
