Biography
A faculty member since 2005, Colleen Less has a B.A. in English from the University of Massachusetts—Boston and a J.D. from Suffolk Law School. Prior to joining JWU in 2005, her legal experience included both transactional work for businesses and civil litigation. Less also taught at Suffolk Law School and New England Law.
Less lives in Easton, Massachusetts where she and her husband Dan raised their four children. A strong believer in civic engagement, Less served in both elected and appointed positions—the Easton Select Board, the Easton School Committee, and the Easton CPA Committee, to name a few. A Steering Committee Member for Easton Wings of Hope, she traveled to Washington D.C. in 2023 to accept a Blue-Ribbon Award from the White House for the coalition’s work to prevent youth substance abuse.
In 2025, Less was a Visiting Professor of Legal Practice at RWU Law.
