Biography
Joshua Mamaclay is a culinary educator, recipe developer, and food media professional with more than 13 years of experience spanning culinary education, recipe development, television, marketing, and specialty food. A Johnson & Wales University graduate, he earned his B.S. in Culinary Arts & Food Service Management, summa cum laude, before returning to JWU as a culinary instructor.
Mamaclay is a Lead Instructor and cast member at Christopher Kimball’s Milk Street, appearing across more than seven seasons of the Emmy Award-winning Christopher Kimball’s Milk Street Television and presenting more than 50 recipes and culinary segments. He has developed more than 250 recipes for Purple Carrot and more than 40 for Tom Brady’s TB12. His career also includes leadership roles at Curio Spice Co. and Taza Chocolate, with expertise spanning culinary instruction, recipe research and development, food photography, video production, marketing, and consumer engagement. At JWU, he brings this multidisciplinary industry experience directly into the classroom.
