Biography

After spending my childhood in upstate New York, Jerelyn Pimentel attended college at the University of Buffalo where she earned her Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. She then moved to Rhode Island where she was employed as an engineer at General Dynamics Electric Boat Division and Honeywell. While employed as an Engineer, she returned to college and earned an MBA in Operations Management. After 17 years, Pimentel left the engineering profession to pursue a doctoral in Educational Leadership. Upon completing my doctoral degree, Dr. Pimentel joined Johnson & Wales University as a mathematics instructor.
