Biography
Born in Northern Ireland Michael Stephens completed his Bachelors in English Literature and his Masters in AngloIrish Literature at the University of Ulster in Coleraine, Co. Derry. He moved to USA in 1985 after being accepted to a Ph.D program in American Culture Studies at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Graduated in 1994 with a Ph.D. Moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 1996 and was hired by Johnson and Wales University as an Associate Professor in English the same year.
