Biography
Austin Scoles is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University, earning a Master of Science in Hospitality Management and a Bachelor of Science in Baking & Pastry Arts and Food Service Management. He holds the distinctions of Certified Master Baker, Certified Executive Pastry Chef, and World Certified Pastry Chef and is a member of Culinary Team USA 2028.
Chef Scoles has extensive industry experience in private clubs, hotels, and resorts, including The Westmoor Club, Augusta National Golf Club, and Kalahari Resorts & Conventions. He returned to Johnson & Wales University’s Charlotte Campus in 2020 as an adjunct instructor and joined the College of Food Innovation and Technology as a full-time faculty member in 2023.
Passionate about pastry and education, Chef Scoles enjoys mentoring students and encouraging them to participate in clubs, competitions, and professional organizations that support their personal growth and prepare them for successful careers.
