Biography
Jennifer Adams Galipeau, Ed.D., serves as founding dean of the College of Hospitality & Business and associate provost for academic affairs at Johnson & Wales University. A proud JWU alumna, she has spent nearly four decades advancing hospitality, business and experiential education as a faculty member, academic administrator and institutional leader. Galipeau provides strategic leadership for the college’s academic programs, faculty, industry partnerships and student success initiatives while helping guide the development of a unified interdisciplinary college. Informed by her background in event management education and curriculum development, her work emphasizes academic innovation, human-centered leadership and preparing students to succeed in the experience economy. She has played key leadership roles in JWU’s three-year degree initiative and institutional and specialized accreditation efforts. Galipeau is committed to creating career-connected learning experiences that help students develop the knowledge, judgment and professional capacity to lead across evolving industries.
