Biography
Jennifer Parisi teaches two levels of wine education and an introductory cheese course, all offered as electives. Students from all culinary, baking and pastry and hospitality majors select beverage and cheese courses to round out required degree courses. Prior to joining JWU, Parisi spent 15+ years in the luxury hospitality sector in several cities including Seattle, Park City and New York City. She worked in both hotels and free standing restaurants, in both rooms and food and beverage. While working in New York City, Parisi earned her graduate degree at NYU. Upon graduation, she continued in an adjunct position at NYU while working in industry. She is now in her 11th year of teaching at JWU and has taught 12 different courses both on the ground and online. She has worked as faculty member for CFIT and COB.
