Rizwan Ahmed brings 12 years of experience as a chef to JWU. Including working under legendary Master Chef Paul Gayler (MBE) at the Lanesborough Hotel, Chef Michel Roux (OBE) at Le Gavroche (Michelin 2 star), Chef Andre Garrett at the Orrery (Michelin 1 star) and Newport Room (AAA Five Diamond), and ACF Master Chef Daniel Scannell.
Armed with this experience, Ahmed opened his restaurant Hourglass Brasserie, serving contemporary European style-cuisine. The Bristol, Rhode Island-based restaurant held the No. 1 position on TripAdvisor four years in a row.
