Your New Student Checklist
Be ready when your first class starts by staying on top of these important to-do items.
- Orientation Registration – Make sure you’re signed up for orientation to get familiar with life on your campus, either Providence or Charlotte.
- Housing Registration – Secure your spot in campus housing before space runs out. See how to apply for campus housing..
- Accept or Waive Health Insurance – Review your Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) and choose to accept or decline your coverage.
- Submit Health Forms – Complete all required health documents for a smooth start, either Providence Campus or Charlotte Campus.
- Finalize Payment Plans – Review and confirm your payment options to avoid any last-minute surprises. Talk to your financial planner to learn more about financing your education.
- Placement Testing – Schedule and complete any required placement exams for course registration. More instructions will be emailed to you this summer.
