Orientation

At new student orientation, you’ll come to campus and get to know campus resources, learn about student clubs and meet other students. We also have virtual sessions to help answer your questions during the summer and prepare you for the start of the school year.

Registration for Summer 2027 opens this winter.

Living on Campus

In Cedar Hall North, you’ll have space to make campus your own while joining a community of fellow first-year students in the heart of a thriving city. You can also apply to bring your pet through JWU’s Pet and Animal Friendly (PAF) Community Living program.

  • Access tutoring, writing laboratories and study skills workshops at our Academic Success Center.
  • Get tools to manage your emotional and physical well-being through Counseling, Health & Wellness services.
  • Find support, education and confidentiality around topics including sexual orientation, gender identity and violence prevention at JWU’s Bridge.
  • Obtain guidance for you and your family in financing your education from your personal financial planner.
  • Stay on track through academic planning, counselors and advisors in JWU’s Student Academic Services.
  • Request accommodations for learning disabilities, physical challenges or chronic medical conditions from Accessibility Services.
  • Get support as the first in your family to go to college through the Summer Bridge program.
