Tutoring

Get one-on-one or small-group help in almost any subject, from accounting to organic chemistry. JWU’s peer and professional tutors offer course-specific support, with many peer tutors having taken the same classes you will.

Success Coaching

Success Coaching pairs you with a coach who helps you build the habits that support success across every class — time management, study strategies, organization and motivation. It’s a partnership focused on how you learn, not what you’re learning.

24/7 On-Demand Support

Need help outside office hours? Tutor.com gives every JWU student on-demand access to tutors around the clock, no appointment required, plus a virtual writing center for draft feedback anytime.

Group Tutoring & Supplemental Instruction

For traditionally challenging courses, students can join weekly group sessions led by tutors with expertise in both the subject and effective learning strategies — no appointment needed.

Writing Support

Providence students can get writing help at any stage, from brainstorming to a final proofread. Tutors won’t correct your paper for you — but they’ll help you see what’s working and what to strengthen next.
