JWU Global is a unified hub dedicated to supporting international students throughout their entire JWU journey, bringing international admissions and international student services together into one team so you always know where to turn. Our Global Citizen Program pairs you with current students to help you build friendships within our diverse, welcoming community from day one.
How We Support You
The JWU Global team is your first stop for everything international at JWU — before you arrive and every step of the way after. We help you:
Navigate the application, visa and travel process
Plan your academics and course schedule
Find housing and get set up with student services
Maintain your F-1 or J-1 visa status and understand your rights as an international student
Adjust to a new country, campus and city
Access employment authorization guidance and required paperwork
Connect with clubs, events and traditions that help you feel at home on campus
Take part in cultural outings, trips and programs that complement your classroom experience
Our English as a Second Language (ESL) program is open to international undergraduate and graduate students at the Providence Campus. You’ll build listening, speaking, reading and writing skills inside and outside the classroom to become proficient in English.

Ready to Apply?
JWU offers early action and rolling admission with no application fee. First-year and transfer students apply through the JWU Application or Common App; graduate students apply through the JWU Graduate Application or program-specific applications, as noted.
