Diversity & Inclusion

Gaebe Commons with sun over arch

Johnson & Wales is committed to providing a welcoming campus environment that supports every student regardless of race, religion, nationality, gender or background. As a university, we keep our guiding principle to “embrace diversity for a richly inclusive community” at the forefront and seek ways to grow in our understanding of each other. Together, we seek to embody the Wildcat Way — pride, courage, community and character — in all of our interactions, whether in the classroom, through student organizations and clubs, and at campus events.

Hate has no place and is not tolerated at JWU.

Instead, Johnson & Wales is a university where students can freely learn, listen, advocate and celebrate together. We invite you to explore the information and campus resources below to learn more.

As an institution, we are committed to listen, learn and to implement lasting change. MARIE BERNARDO-SOUSA, LP.D., '92, President, Providence Campus
