New Page Requests On Hold

Requests for new webpages or significant redesigns are currently on hold.

Web Ticket Process

Web editing is managed centrally by University Marketing & Communications to ensure ADA compliance and consistent structure.

The responsibilities of the digital marketing team include:

  • monitoring webpages for accuracy and readability
  • updating webpages
  • upholding JWU’s brand standards, web accessibility guidelines and editorial style guidelines
  • launching new academic program pages
  • ensuring that our website is optimized for online search and user experience
  • reviewing and publishing submitted web content
  • offering training and assistance to web editors universitywide
  • SEO and AI search engine optimization for content on jwu.edu

The digital marketing team does not manage, update or edit the following:

*Integrated faculty profiles now connect directly from the Faculty Information System (FIS/Watermark). Update your publications or credentials in FIS and see them reflected the next day on jwu.edu. If you have questions about FIS fields or setup, see the bulleted list of contacts above.

Requesting Web Support

If you notice incorrect or missing information on the site, please submit it below.

The digital marketing team can accommodate simple updates, which are typically completed within 5-7 work days. Examples of simple updates include:

  • Making factual corrections
  • Updating or removing academic programs from the site
  • Updating the academic program picker
  • Fixing typos and grammatical errors
  • Removing or replacing broken links or images
  • Converting a PDF into page content*

*Before submitting a PDF, ask yourself if it could work as inline page copy instead. If it’s too lengthy to post as page content (like a program handbook or research guide), submit it as a web ticket. If it’s primarily geared toward current students or faculty/staff, host it on jwuLink instead.

Make a Request

This link opens up a pre-filled email. You can customize your subject line to fit your request, but DO NOT use the word “Update” or your request will bounce back.

If you have a question about your ticket after you submit it, please email the team — sending emails to IT affects the original ticket.
