Please only register for events that you know you will attend. Spaces are limited, and over-registering takes away opportunities for other families and friends. Refunds will not be offered for non-attendance.

Pack Wisely

Casual attire is appropriate for most events during Family & Friends Weekend. Many of our events are designed to keep you active, so bring comfortable shoes.

If you are participating in a culinary or baking & pastry class you will be required to have closed-toe shoes and restrained hair. 

Late-September/early-October weather in Charlotte can be quite unpredictable, so be sure to bring layers, including a warm jacket.

Weather for past events has been anywhere from sunny and hot to cloudy, cool and rainy, so be prepared! Before you travel, check the local weather forecast and pack accordingly.

Where to Eat

The Dining Hall will be open for regular meal service throughout the weekend, unless otherwise noted. There are also plenty of restaurants within a short distance of campus.
