Welcome to JWU Providence

You’re going to fit right in!

Art. History. Architecture. A knockout food scene (thanks in large part to our alums). This highly walkable New England city, known as Rhode Island’s Creative Capital, is easy to love. Come find your place here as our newest Wildcat.

Orientation

At new student orientation, you’ll come to campus and get to know campus resources, learn about student clubs and meet other students. We also have virtual sessions to help answer your questions during the summer and prepare you for the start of the school year.

Registration for Summer 2027 opens this winter.

On JWU’s Downcity Campus, you can opt for pet-friendly housing in either McNulty Hall or Snowden Hall, or could opt for a single, double or triple residence at Xavier Hall.
