About Our Team
Our “Res Life” team is here to help you do more than just settle in to campus housing.
We manage the on-campus living experience for JWU students each year and assist with housing, roommate and community living, locating campus resources and much more. Most importantly, we ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone who lives and works in our residence halls.
Our residence halls are hubs for educational living and learning in which all residential students are encouraged to develop and participate in programming and community interactions that are beneficial for their personal development and the enhancement of their overall JWU experience.
Students who live on campus have a unique experience, a higher GPA and are more involved on campus and in the community. A JWU residential experience is a dynamic, convenient and transformative aspect of your college years. The people you meet and activities you take part in will help build skills that will benefit you for the rest of your life.

Accessibility and Housing Accommodations
The Residential Life team works closely with Accessibility Services to evaluate requests for housing accommodations that promote equal access to the residential experience. Housing accommodations are considered through an individualized, interactive process that focuses on disability-related needs and the barriers a student may experience within campus housing.
Every request is reviewed individually to determine whether a reasonable housing accommodation is appropriate.
If you need a specific type of on-campus housing accommodation, you must submit documentation to Accessibility Services before a request can be considered. Accessibility Services will then work with Residential Life to evaluate the request to ensure that reasonable accommodations are provided.
Pet-Friendly Living
We offer Pet & Animal-Friendly (PAF) communities for our students in select residence halls on both JWU campuses. Students must apply to bring a pet or animal through the Wildcat Housing system in jwuLink. Not all animals or pets are eligible — visit the Pet-Friendly Living page to see eligibility requirements.
How to Apply for Housing
Students use our Wildcat Housing System to view residence halls, select a room or get on a waitlist, and select or change their meal plan.
What should you bring with you for living at JWU?
We have a list of suggested basic items you should bring with you to campus. These items may vary by your room type, and we also recommend students coordinate with their roommates to each bring items that can be shared.
