Career Outcomes
Most students choose JWU with a career in mind. Our academic programs are built around that goal, pairing coursework with internships, client projects and industry connections that lead somewhere after graduation. Here’s what that adds up to for our graduates.

High-Impact Learning, Real-World Results
From day one, we match students’ passions with real-world experiences that put their skills to the test. Through paid internships, site visits, mentorship and client-facing projects, students build confidence and connections that set them apart and pay off in the field.
This powerful combination of learning and doing is why our graduates are ready to make an impact the moment they cross the stage. It’s also why JWU’s Career Outcomes Rate consistently exceeds the national average.

An explanation of JWU’s Career Outcomes Rate
*How is the Career Outcomes Rate calculated? Our universitywide rate represents the percentage of graduates who, within six months of earning their degree, are employed, continuing their education, serving in the military or performing voluntary service. The statistic is a 3-year average from JWU’s 2023, 2024 and 2025 associate and bachelor’s degree graduates and is based on a knowledge rate of 65.5%; this rate defines the percentage of graduates for which the institution has reasonable and verifiable information concerning the graduates’ postgraduation career activities. JWU’s Career Outcomes Rate follows the standards set by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). This stat was last updated in August 2026.
