Q&A with Ron

At JWU, education is not confined to the four walls of the classroom. You’re not going to spend four years with your nose buried in a book, learning theories you may never get a chance to apply — you’re going to get out there and apply them, be it through internships, group projects, leadership opportunities, competitions and more.

How Did You Get Started?

I have been a part of the Food and Beverage Industry since my first job as a Bus Boy in a local restaurant. From there I attended Mercyhurst University majoring in Hotel/Restaurant Management, then attending Johnson & Wales University for my masters.

Following my masters degree I joined Darden Restaurants in operations moving onto Quality Assurance with Decas Cranberry Products.

In 2009 I joined Johnson & Wales and the rest is history!
