Drive Innovation in the Hospitality Industry

Hospitality students with a focus on Food & Beverage Management conduct flavor profiles and discover sensory perception techniques in JWU’s Bigelow Tea Classroom. Sports, Entertainment, Event — Management (SEEM) majors experience the look and feel of a real entertainment venue in the SEEM lab. Students specializing in Hotel & Resort Management intern at hotels across the globe. At JWU Providence, the College of Hospitality Management can help prepare you for your future career.


Hospitality Programs

Undergraduate Majors

Get started with your choice of four major programs that will develop your leadership skills. Undergraduate programs include Adventure, Sport and Sustainable Tourism, Food & Beverage Management, Hospitality Management and Sports, Entertainment, Event — Management (SEEM). 

Graduate Programs

Take your education to the next level through our range of hospitality-focused graduate degrees, including an M.S. in Global Tourism and Sustainable Economic Development and an MBA with a choice of concentrations in Hospitality, Event Leadership or Sport Leadership.

Minors

Enhance your major by pairing it with a minor that exposes you to a diverse range of skills. Choose from minors such as Craft Brewing, Sustainability, Global Studies and more. 

Gain Real-World Hospitality Skills

At JWU Providence, we focus on providing students with real-world experiences that go beyond the classroom. Take part in a Directed Experiential Education (DEE) project, where you can collaborate with students across different majors and complete projects for industry partners for class credit. In addition to the wide range of semester-or year-long study abroad options, we also offer distinctive short-term tours to countries across the globe. These tours give you the opportunity to discover the intricacies of planning and organizing a trip abroad.

Navigating Hospitality in Jordan

Meet Teagan Nine! Before graduating in 2023, this College of Hospitality Management student participated in a life-changing trip to Jordan, where she saw sights and tried cuisines she hadn’t imagined, all while getting to help plan and execute the trip as a co-tour guide. Teagan is now pursuing her MBA in Hospitality here at JWU Providence, gaining an advanced level of skills to apply to management and strategy positions in hospitality.
