Wildcat Center (directions) The Wildcat Center is home to the Wildcat Gymnasium, fitness center, and campus bookstore. The WC plays host to both men’s and women’s volleyball teams for practice and competitions. The facility holds approximately 400 fans, features floor side and balcony seating and has the charm and character of the gym featured in the movie "Hoosiers". This facility is located in the Wildcat Center on the NW corner of the campus. Fitness Center The fitness center offers a variety of free weights, nautilus weights, and cardio equipment. In order to promote health & wellness on campus we also offer jump ropes, medicine balls, and Swiss balls for core training. The hours of operation are: Monday-Friday, 7am-10pm
and weekends, Sand Volleyball Court The
sand volleyball court is open year-round (weather permitting). It
is the home to several intramural leagues
and tournaments. The court is located in the courtyard outside
of Johnson and Wales Residence Halls. Intramural Field All intramural field sports will be played on the Gaebe Commons located in front of Gaebe Hall. Manual High School (directions) Host to the JWU Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams for the 2007-2008 season. The local gym is a home to some the best basketball Denver has to offer and often sells out its 2400 available seats. |
