The Community Leadership Institute (CLI) gives you the opportunity to learn and practice leadership at the intersection of the campus, industry and community.

To succeed in your career, you need to be prepared to lead in social responsibility ways. The health and prosperity of your business are inextricably linked to the health and prosperity of your community.

So the CLI offers leadership development and civic engagement programs that train you to lead in ways that supports the common good. The institute ollaborates with faculty and community organizations to consistently develop and assess service learning projects.

The institute also connects students, faculty and staff to volunteer opportunities at more than 25 diverse, community based organizations across Metro Denver.

The CLI was established in 2001. The institute is affiliated with the Colorado Leadership Alliance, formed in the early 1990s to provide leadership training to young people throughout the state.
