Faculty have event industry association accreditations such as certified special events planners (CSEP) and certified meeting profession (CMP).
Courses are developed and updated to reflect the latest industry trends.
Most courses are taught by event practitioners who bring extensive, real-world experience to the classroom.

Professor Krupa has held positions in marketing, sales management, selling, counseling, consulting and education. His underlying philosophy is that people have unlimited potential.
Esckilsen has been instrumental in the development of courses and course content in the areas of venue management, ticketing and access management. He teaches both undergraduate- and graduate-level courses.
Covino is actively involved with JWU’s Directed Experiential Education (DEE) program, which has encompassed planning and evaluation of several projects within the local community.
