Jeffery Alexander first began in the baking industry at the age of 13, where he did a short stint at a bakery outside of Philadelphia. It was there he fell in love with his future profession. He worked for some of the best 5-star, 5 Diamond hotels, including The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida, and The Cloister Hotel in Sea Island, Georgia, where he served as head baker and assistant pastry chef.

Alexander has taught pastry classes at the Art Institute of Charleston, the Culinary Institute of Charleston, and (of course) Johnson & Wales University’s Charleston and Charlotte campuses, before transferring to JWU’s Providence Campus.
