About Schellie

Schellie Andrews has worked in the hospitality industry for 30 years as a professional pastry chef and pastry chef instructor. In 1998, she moved to Los Angeles, Calif., to work as one of the lead pastry chefs at Universal Studio Hollywood and the Vie de France Bakery and Café. Andrews also previously worked at the California School of Culinary Arts, Le Cordon Bleu, in Pasadena, Calif. Her industry experience includes working in some of Philadelphia’s finest restaurants, hotels and pastry shops. During this same time period, she consulted on the White Dog Cafe’s cookbook by testing pastry recipes. Andrews moved to Florida in 2008 where she joined the faculty at the Johnson & Wales University, North Miami Campus. She earned a master’s of business administration from the Providence Campus and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from American InterContinental University. In November 2016, Andrews transferred to the Charlotte Campus.
