JWU Faculty Since 2020

After receiving her MFA from Stony Brook Southampton in 2020, Jesi Halprin began teaching as an adjunct professor in the Johnson and Wales English Department. She became a full-time faculty member in 2023.
Jesi views the classroom as a place not solely dedicated to acquiring technical knowledge and skills but where students should have the space to critically explore their interests, feelings and beliefs with their whole selves as part of self-actualization.
