Marissa Meucci, PT, MSPT, Ph.D., is a physical therapist and health services researcher whose work focuses on improving the safety and independence of community-dwelling older adults. Her research uses large administrative claims and other population-based datasets to examine patterns of healthcare utilization and outcomes among older adults. She holds a master’s degree in physical therapy from Boston University’s Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. Her clinical experience includes inpatient rehabilitation and home health, with a focus on working with patients with neurological conditions such as stroke and brain injury.
At Johnson & Wales University, Meucci teaches Foundations of Evidence-Based Practice, Research I & II, and Healthcare Management in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
