I love working in technology! It’s always changing and new and exciting things are always coming out. That means that even as a professor, I’m also always a student. Being a continuous learner (and enjoying it) is critical to a successful career in technology fields.

Q&A with Peter

At JWU, education is not confined to the four walls of the classroom. You’re not going to spend four years with your nose buried in a book, learning theories you may never get a chance to apply — you’re going to get out there and apply them, be it through internships, group projects, leadership opportunities, competitions and more.

How Did You Get Started?

I got my first technical training and experience in the Navy. From there, I got a job as an Assistant Engineer at a Navy defense contracting firm outside Washington DC where I worked on computer, communication and radar systems.
