Championship Saturday: JWU Providence Athletics Gets NCAA-Ready

JWU Women's Soccer won their first GNAC since 2005 on Saturday.

11/13/19 | This past weekend JWU Providence Athletics racked up not one but 3 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) titles — securing National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Tournament placement for all 3 teams.

Women’s soccer secured the 2019 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) title — their first conference championship since 2005.

Women’s volleyball head to the NCAA Tournament on the strength of their conference-best victory over the Rivier Raiders. For the Wildcats, this is their 10th championship and their 6th time defeating the Raiders for the GNAC trophy.

Men’s soccer earned their 9th GNAC trophy — and multiple players were named to the All-GNAC team that was announced Monday. (Head Coach Dave Kulik was also named GNAC Coach of the Year for the second time in his career.)
